Spring is generally pleasant in Central Florida — before the heat and humidity of summer hit. Families who want to be settled before the school year often start planning moves in March and April. Weekday availability is typically strong.
Summer is peak moving season — families relocate for school calendars, military transfers, and job changes. This means moving companies are busiest, weekends book up fast, and the heat is brutal (regularly 90°F+, with real-feel temps well above 100°F). If you must move in summer, book early, start as early in the morning as possible, and have plenty of water and fans ready.

Monday–Thursday are typically the best days for moving in Central Florida. Weekend moves are the most popular — which means more competition for mover availability and sometimes longer wait times at elevators and loading docks in apartment complexes.
Weekday moves also tend to have less traffic in Orlando, which means your crew can travel between locations faster — which means fewer billable hours.
The beginning and end of the month are the busiest — that's when most apartment leases start and end. Mid-month (the 8th–20th) tends to have the best mover availability and shortest scheduling lead times.
