3. Long-Carry Fees
If the truck can't park close to your front door, some movers charge for the extra distance the crew has to carry items. Parking situations in downtown Orlando and older apartment complexes make this one common.
4. Bulky Item Charges

- Is there a minimum number of hours? Know this upfront. A 2-hour minimum on a small job is fine as long as you know about it.
- What's your policy for stairs, long carries, or oversized items? If your new place has stairs or a tricky parking situation, ask specifically. Get the answer in writing.
- What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy? Orlando closings get delayed. Apartment availability shifts. Know what it costs to change the date before you're in that situation.
